Last month, we ran a small campaign on Facebook giving the veterans charities a chance to win £250. To nominate their favourite charity, our followers commented on a post on our Facebook page. The Veterans Charity got around 36 votes from their supporters therefore took the lead and ended up winning £250!

Since 2011, they have provided these essential items to more than 1,000 Veterans. They also, provided support and guidance to many more.
The Veterans Charity are hosting a range of different charity events. One of them being, The Forces March going from 23rd May to the 27th May. This is an annual event that The Veterans Charity hosts every year in May as a recreation of the WW2 training march that took place in 1942. They have split the route into five, one day sections, each day being 28 miles long. They will be marching from Ilfracombe on the spectacular North Devon coast, across Exmoor, Somerset and the Quantock Hills, Salisbury Plain and finally finishing in Bulford, Wiltshire. To get involved or find out more information please visit The Forces March website.
The Veterans Charity is also listed on our website in the Support and Training section, giving the Self-employed Veterans signed up to our site the help and support if they may need it.
